DoSeum Loteria
For The DoSeum’s 2020 annual gala, we like so many other organizations had to get creative. As a leader in informal education, The DoSeum always includes a hands-on activity for guests to partake in. We decided in the midst of the unknown the activity had to be fun, family-friendly, and it needed to be able to travel to people’s homes to ensure safety. That’s when the idea for a customized, fully DoSeum-branded Loteria was born.
The Strategy
As the pandemic dragged on, we wanted to ensure that the donors who received this gift were reminded why they love The DoSeum and continue to support the mission. Each graphic highlights something unique at The DoSeum; be it beloved exhibits such as Little Town, services and accessibility, or the DOers who make all of the magic happen. Every piece from the game boards to the 54 individual cards are illustrated, designed, and completely unique to The DoSeum.
The Results
Everyone loved this one-of-a-kind gift! It was part of the overall annual Birthday Bash gala in a box concept. It helped us raise funds to go towards overall operations and recovery to a post-Covid world.
