The Great Outdoors

In 2023, I was asked to design the overall look, tone and feel for The DoSeum’s annual gala, themed The Great Outdoors. This meant not only designing various elements but also providing creative direction on what the overall look and experience would be for our donors. In collaboration with the Development and Event teams, we created an interactive experience for guests to explore the Great Outdoors while highlighting the unique attributes of The DoSeum itself.

The Challenge

The goal was to create a unique experience for our guests while staying true to The DoSeum’s brand. This meant ensuring every element—from the save-the-date to the website, bandanas, signage, and decor—came together to form a cohesive visual identity. We aimed to blend the charm of a traditional camping experience with the elegance and luxury of a gala inside The DoSeum.

The Results

I’m thrilled with how everything came together for this amazing project—from designing the look, tone, and feel, to creating the logo, collateral pieces, and overall guest experience. It truly all came together beautifully!
